Analytical Instrumentation Laboratory
Laboratory facilities

The Environmental Engineering laboratories occupy over 7500 square feet of laboratory and office space, and are equipped for research in the physical, chemical, and biological aspects of water quality and solid wastes. Separate laboratory rooms are designated for wet chemistry, biological treatment, analytical instrumentation, solar simulation experimentation, large projects, undergraduate and graduate course teaching, on-site shop/tool storage and chemical storage. Major analytical equipment available include several gas chromatographs, atomic absorption spectrometer, total organic carbon analyzer and a full range of spectrophotometers.
