A. Steve McAnally
Associate Professor
Dr. McAnally’s research interests focus on water and wastewater treatment, particularly
appropriate technology applications for developing communities. Recent research
projects include optimization studies for potable water production using low-cost
portable water treatment units. Other research areas include water treatment for
heavy metals removal and corrosion control, industrial waste minimization, constructed
wetland applications for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment and education
reform in civil and environmental engineering.
