Homework will be assigned weekly and will be due every Thursday at the end of the class.  

Late homework will not be accepted.  Homework is due at the end of class.  Submission at later times is not allowed unless communicated with the instructor at least 24 hrs in advance.

In every homework set one problem (selected at random) will be graded for correctness, the remaining will be graded based on the proportion of assigned problem that are attempted. 

Homework should be submitted on engineering paper.  Homework submitted on paper torn from spiral binders, or any other paper, WILL NOT be graded.  Computer printouts may be submitted on white printer paper.

Use pencil.  All drawings must be clear and easy to read.

Show all work clearly and document assumptions.  Provide explanations in an essay form, where appropriate.

Clearly Mark your answers.

 Collaboration is encouraged on homework assignments only.  However, copying is unacceptable and homework will be given a zero grade for all parties involved.

The use of solution manuals is strictly prohibited, is considered plagiarism and will earn you an F in the class.
