The objectives of the Graduate Program of Civil & Environmental Engineering are
to provide courses of study which emphasize student involvement in research initiatives
and projects, many of which are supported by government agencies or are collaborative
efforts with local industries
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers comprehensive programs
of study leading to the following degrees:
The Master of Science (M.S.) and Master of Engineering (M.E.) degrees are designed
to provide a strong foundation for pursuing careers in the civil and environmental
engineering industry while the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree prepares graduates
for careers in industrial research and university-level teaching and research.
Our areas of study include Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering,
Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Water Resources Engineering.
